Hey wuss good ya'll look call me a new jack but i have a problem. I just got this mpc2000xl i was mad happy to get it. But when i hooked it up i was kind of shocked. Now look i have a ASR X Pro too an it works like a charm so i no about samplen. So i hook it up an i try to sample just about 4 bars. Went to play it back an all i got was snap crackol pop rice crispey. So my first thought was my jacks are shot. i got to the music store and cop new cords, same thing. so then i'm like the jacks in the back of the mpc are bad. So i shiped it out to radio shack to fix the jacks. Guess what they are good. I feel like wow i just trick 600 for some junk can anybody help me. hit me up on the yahoo IM under BrokehouseProduction Please.

Maybe the memory inside is not seated correctly.

When the mpc is on, everything you do is contained in active memory (RAM), so ANY memory problem you'll notice RIGHT away.
