Placing 2 sounds with velocity on one bank?

This is what I want to do. Put a kick, on the left(or bottom) 8 pads, put a snare on the right(or top) 8 pads, and put both sounds in velocity mode. Is this possible? Much thanks to everyone..

i think NO......velocity works with only one sound at a time......

While it's not possible to use the 16 levels function to do this you can setup your samples to respond this way. Assign a kick to the first 8 pads and a snare to the next 8 pads and go into the mixer screen and adjust the levels for each pad accordingly.

Yeah, how do I go about setting up a sound to pan across 8 pads?

Exactly as I described before only instead of(or in addition to) adjusting the level adjust the pan.
