Drag And Drop feature in OS x AKSys

Is it me, or are you not able to drag a sound straight on to the mpc pad editor in osx. I'm using the latest aksys software and i have a sound on my desktop that I want to place onto a pad. However it doesn't stick/load. This was a great feature (one I bragged to my friends about) hope it's not gone. can someone help me please. thanks. This feature also made making drum kits so easy. Akai please don't do this to me.

Make sure that you have selected a drum program and not a keygroup program. Select the program by clicking make active button within the right click mouse. Also try the refresh button just in case to make sure the drum program is active.
