sup peeps. nice board. i have been on hiatus from my mpc for about a year.5 just using the computer for production.
i have an mpc2000og (nonXl)
i have a scsi zip drive on the mpc
i have a parallel zip drive for the mpc
i run windows
last i tried there was no easy way to use the zips to transport snds and pgms to the mpc from the computer because of the header info on the disk getting eaten by windows. i saw someone mention something about using zips and the mpc editor program and was wondering if this ever got sorted out (hacked around) or is there an easy way to do it now?
what are you heads doing? i also have a scsi hd for the mpc that i dont use much, is there any way i could use the scsi drive with my computer and format it in such a way that windows and the mpc could use it (at seperate times of course)
just wondering if there is some way to easily do this these days. thanks, peace.
