Hey, I think you go to save and choose "Save to internal" - This deletes the internal memory. Its a bit fiddly an i found out by accident

Hi guys, having some real probs here. Just got the mpc500 and cant do anything with it. Ive tried deleting the Akai samples using the "save to internal" and they are still there. Also cant save anything.
I'll admit Im an AKAI virgin. Can anyone talk me through these issues in really easy steps?

Please help - have I got a dud???

Cheers :(
