'Hello Mark, I have not heard of plans to add a sample rate conversion option. For resampling, it is recommended to go out to a computer soundcard with a digital Spdif input to get the best quality. i wanted to know why the main out resample was so whack,if they would update o.s 2.x so you could convert sample rates and put a stop to the rumour that the new 1k came with the HD bracket.

Ive seen a few posts about theses various issues and went straight to the top. Seems akai arent really bothered by the competition of the jj o.s either.
They just want you to part with your hard earned cash.
I still love my new 1k though but im definately ditching the akai o.s.

you do know akai support also replied back to people that the new black 1000's did NOT come with the new pad upgrade installed when they actually did, so i wouldn't actually believe anything those douche bags say.

ohh, and do you think the resampling is wack just because it doesn't resample at different sample rates, or because the volume is weak? if its cause the volume is weak try going to the "other' screen and changing the master out level to 0 instead of -6 or -12.
