Getting a card reader to work with the 2K.XL

I have a card reader. When I hooked it up to my XL the screen read [SCSI drive not ready]. I was told that my termination bus might have blown. Ok. To test it i hooked up my Zip drive, which works, to my XL and chained the the card reader to it. Result... Drive not ready!

What am I doing wrong. Or should I get a new card reader?

Scaling the Galaxy for signs of help.

You scaled the galaxy but couldn't find your issue already probably mentioned in a previous thread?


Maybe you don't have the proper scsi id set on the card reader.

Maybe your card reader is a combo drive, scsi AND parallel drive, which will NOT work.

Do a search next time.
