2kclassic and xl casings

Okay... I have an xl and about to cop a 2k classic so that I can customize 1 or even both of them. What I need to know is... have any of you replaced your old casings and if so, would you be willing to sell me your old ones? I just want to make sure I have replacements just in case I screw something up. Holla!!!!

Good luck getting the 2k classic casing. Vst had some back in dec/jan 06 going for $97+ and ran out. I've been looking for a new casing haven't found any.Best bet is to go buy a busted 2k with a nice case and snatch the case off it. Also if you mess up on the paint you could just grind it off and go again.

I just ordered a new chassis from VST yesterday, actually right at the time this thread was started - and both VST and mpcstuff said they don't have a classic cover.

I guess I'm just sandblasting mine and painting as a result. I'd originally wanted to save it as is with the original paint.

Yo taxman theres 2 2000 classic shell AND a Blue XL shell on ebay right now!

for the classic search for "akai 2000 case" & "MPC 2000 parts"

the XL im not sure but i seen it last night.
