So if I figure out what kind they are I can order some new blue ones and it would show blue instead? And the led's are inside of the white cover right?

well i haven't taken apart my screen, so not sure what you mean by 'white cover'. I'd assume the leds are under the glass, and they'd be surface mounted to the pcb.
