Playing samples on the pads

When I load a sample into the drum pad of my MPC 60II, is it possible to make the sample start over when I hit the pad again? Instead of keeping the prior sample playing along with the new note I just hit. So there is no sound clash. ei..playin a drum beat and starting it over without any overlap when the pad is hit again.

go to the env page and set the sample to MONO instead of POLY

i'm running v. 2.12, is it possible to do this on v.2.12?

ive only used OS 3.10e

look in the manual for an envelope page, when you change attack and decay and shit for the sample, should be in there
