pitch bend midi control

is it possible to use the slider to send pitch bend messages to a synth?
Is there a specific CC # for pitch bend, or it is its own control message?

yes. you gotta get the JJ OS2. Which has midi control changes implemented into the OS. If you go looking, at the moment there is a very interesting conversation going on about midi CCs and midisense. check it out. just look for a thread about "midi CCs" and "6 parameters." Its in the JJ OS 1000 forum.

Also the qlinks on jj os1 can send any CC message.
Internal programs will also respond to pitch bend input on the jjos1.

thanks yeah I'd looked at that. I have the JJ os, and its incredible that the mpc receives pitch bend messages, I've already been doing that. But when I go to the Qlink, which one do I select to send pitch bend? is there a specific # CC change?? I can send mod wheel...

I think pitch bend is handled differently to other CC's.

Im not at my mpc at the moment, but have a feeling you can only access "pitch bend" from the grid edit qreal screen,one qlink will bend the pitch up and the other one down. this might not be ideal for what you want.
