Peeps, please check this ebay listing. The seller has told me its the new MPC (new pads, better build etc.) but I'm having doubts.

Let us know what you think.

It looks like one of the old new ones. In order of appearance

First the Blue and Red one came out

Then the Black model

Then after the padfix came out, they re-released the black model with the new pads

Of course there is always the off chance that this is an old blue and red model somebody put a black chassis on, but unlikely.

They actually re-released the black on before they put the pad fix in. Mine is the "new" black one but with old pad design.

Hmmm..... so to be safe, I should just not buy it? And save another $300 and get a brand spanker with harddrive, memory, etc.??

The silver backing is a giveaway that it's an old/new one with old pad design.
