well in the akai os you can use the pitch shift option but this is destructive to the sample, in the jj os you can do it right within the program mode and it is non-destructive to the sample, i don't remember if you can do this in the akai os, because i haven't used it in so so long.
And to dvs, not to be what is most likely going to be perceived as a jerk, but what you just did doesn't help, i'm sorry but i don't like it when people just tell noobies to go download the manual, they are new to the thing and need help, just help them out and go along with your business.
