MPC60MK1 OS 3.10
I understand that I have a dead battery from reading various threads. Basically if I set my pads up on the master in octave fashion, and "save" it like this when I shut my MP off and turn it back on the pads aren't set in octave fashion, they are default(all over the place).
The only reason I would like them to stay in octave fashion is because my homie gave me his 2000xl(
I know right!?) and I want to use the 2kXL at a sound module and trigger samples with the 60.
Question is, can I make a "boot" disk that has the pads set up in octave fashion and just leave that in the MP when I boot it up so it loads it as such. Then I can remove that floppy and work on my other floppies for sound.
If I am not making any sense please let me know so I can clarify.
