Hey guys. I know that one time before someone had told me that you are able to record up to 6 tracks at a time on the MPC1000. I tried but everytime I try it seems not ot work out that way. If someone doesnt mind could someone explain to me how I would go about that cuz I definitely cant figure it out. Thanks in advance.

no, unfortunately. this has been my single most wanted feature for the mpc (along with properly working recordable track mutes) and i feel the mpc is lacking a lot without it. the way it is now all midi arriving at the midi input is forwarded to the selected track, so you can't use the mpc as a multitimbral sound module, that would be the dopest thing on earth. mpcs used to have multitimbrality in the past, but neither akai nor jj implemented it on the mpc1000 (and 2500 too afaik).
