Does anyone think its possible that jj could implement a feature where you can view (i guess the best way to put it would be a bouncing ball or runner so i kno exactly where i am listening when i que up a sample in trim) over a sample. Ex when im in trim mode and im listening to play all that there could be a running ticker that goes on top of the sample to let me know exactly where i am listening?

to find the right loop.

Very Good Idea. I was thinking of something similiar just last night. This would make looping samples alot easier.

in all amiability can we just chill with the requests for a while?
it's a very good idea, one i've wanted since day 1, but every other thread is "i sent jj an email" or "i made a request"
dude's very very busy porting os2 to the 2500, which will open up more business.

honestly i don't see what the problem is sending JJ requests right now. as i understand it, he doesn't even check his own email he has another guy who does that and filters & passes the messages he deems worthy along to JJ.

also, so what if the requests pile up? JJ is still going to do things at his own schedule and when he has the time after porting to the 2500 & doing bug fixes then he will get to the requests at his own pace. no big deal.

the pressures of customer requests on a developer may have a negative impact on the work if, especially because frequently FRs are made with a sense of urgency or desperation.

especially with a language barrier it's very important to be careful not to (as a group) overuse the privilege of developer contact -- especially if/when pressing bugs and incompletions exist in the current build.

but damn what i would give to have this feature and i wonder how many request are sht lame request *sigh*

sadly everyone feels this way about their own FR. as for a "when" i think it should be at least until after the os2 for 2500 is released

AND, i believe it's important to provide feedback when FRing: all FR's should ALWAYS be accompanied by a handful of bug reports, inconsistencies, or workflow problems.

i agree about the pressure ESPECIALLY with the language barrier and im not saying my idea is the golden egg and all but i think it would be helpful
but i will def get the ball rolling after the 2500 os2 comes out. Also is there any one particular person that does the feature request (i mean i kno anyone can do it but i want throw the request in with a handful of bug reports etc.)
