Pads 1-2 are almost Defective

Whats up fam...


I just got a used XL and I am having a problem..

Pads 1-2 and occasionally 3 and 4 sometimes knock them selves out and the only way I can get them back is by pressing down hard on them and then they'll work fine for a bit until it happens again.. usually once they take a 30 sec. rest...

How serious is this problem and should I give AKAI a phone call to see what they say?

I'm also in Toronto, so shipping to AKAI to get it fixed might be pretty pricy..

Call Akai. I had a problem with my 2000, and I was scared they were gonna want me to mail that sh*t in, but they have repair shops all over the place they refer you too. There was one like an hour from my house.
