2K - Operating Systems?

I am curious if anyone knows the latest OS for the 2000xl MCD? I've looked into JJOS, but am unsure if it works on the older MP's?

JJOS does not work for the 2000xl. Would be nice if it did, really nice if it did, but the latest version for the MCD is 1.20, I believe.

What's the difference between the original 1.7 OS on the MPC 2000 and 1.72 OS the MPC 2000.

If I remember right, OS 1.7 was the first version that allowed you to use wave files as well as snd amongst a few other things.
I think OS 1.72 was probably just a bug fix.
