music in the last 15yrs NOdj e.d.e
^^Well first off popular hip/hop?...Like we talking commercial or underground? Hip/Hop in past 15 years you can't really say NO about. I would ask your friend they are underground compilations. Cuz off the top of the dome. I could name off dozens of LP's that are illin, and I am talking underground by the way. Ask your friend to give you a list if names like: Jneiro Jarel, Top Quality, Kevin Kaze, Asamov, The Away Team. I would pick them up, but I would just nip pick for the underground ones. If the shiet is like Young Jeezy, Jay-Z or anything of that calibre, then yeah I would say NO....

Mate, if it's good sh*t you can use to spin at a gig or house party, and it won't dent your credibility, lap it up. Just haggle on the price. 160 boys sounds good for all that wax, but if it's alot of filler (i.e. Lumidee, or f*ckin SouljaBoy) then I'd get alot of money off!

Huh? I thought even with a second hand MV it would be closer to 900 quid? Well done mate. That's a nice piece of kit you've got there. Any comparison to an MPC?

I be completly hones, compared to 4000 id go for the 4000 if I had the money, but compared to a smaller MPC its great.
the only thing with the Roland vs the MPC is the swing kinda takes a bit of getting used to its not instant gratification like a MPC but its good all the same.
I would say the only thing I dislike is the fact it only has one midi input bar that I dont see what all the fuss is about im not faithful to one brand anyway, I got an ensoniq that I use alot, its like comparing oranges and apples, both different, the FX on the unit are real nice.
Swing issues are a myth, at first it seems wack cos it dont quantise automatically you have to manually adjust it so when people say the timing is shit, what that actually means is their timing is shit
