I am about to put about 4,000.00 up forsale and i paid from a buck to 20 bucks for them but am not sure what to list them for or let people in the area dig them for is there a price guide out for records or a online site that i can look at besides ebay? Thanks.

Well, I would look at Amoeba records, and see what their prices are. I've seen some records on that site that are rare and run for 40-150 dollars a pop. Depending on the label, and the rarity I'm sure you can sell them for top dollar, but on the same token you don't want to over charge anyone. But I would go to a record store near you and get estimates, or maybe you can sell your stuff to them. Well good luck...

yeah i am trying to find prices so A i dont rip anyone off or end up not selling due to the price and B not loose money myself as this is about 8 years of digging here.

foot work HomIE lot's of footwork, check your local record shops and some of these sites mentioned. but for reasonable prices and to guarantee your sales do the foot work, your best bet

if you're thinking of putting them on ebay just start all of em at 4.99

don't do a set sale if you aren't absolutely sure about what they're worth to you

who cares what they're worth if they have no meaning to you, unless you paid a certain amount for them, sell it and at least make the money you paid for it back

There is no real way to gauge the worth of a record.

eBay for example, I' ve seen records that are like WTF?? going for extrordinary amounts of $$$$. You get 2 numbskulls outbidding each other 10 times and all of a sudden the record is up to $100.00 plus only for the top bidder to be sniped. And then next week the same record is up there with the auction ending at $5.99.

Unless your talking about some guaranteed known heat it's too hard to predict.
