Diffrent 8 outs?

i am looking in to getting the 8 outs board for my 2kxl. I have read on here that some people have gotten a board that is actually for the s2000 or some other rack sampler by akai. i was wondering if this is 1 true? 2 how can i tell when buying? Any help is much appreciated!

You can use the ones from a S2000 but you jsut need to put washers in it to raise it up so it sits right and comes out the holes on the back.

Yeah, I'm using the s-series one...Board is the same, mounting plate is different...

are we talking about the mutec board?
I remember reading a post about someone having noise trouble with that board.

Yeah but that's one in a 100 hundred people. I know other people who use them and have no problems for years.

mine is also a s2000 mutec board.I had problems with the length of the rec in and main out cables,they where too short...but no problems till now....

thanks for the info everyone! i have also been thinking about wheather im going to buy i new or used? has any one had any bad or any experance with a used board, as far as new boards is mpc stuff the only spot i didnt see it on vst.
