^^Well first off popular hip/hop?...Like we talking commercial or underground? Hip/Hop in past 15 years you can't really say NO about. I would ask your friend they are underground compilations. Cuz off the top of the dome. I could name off dozens of LP's that are illin, and I am talking underground by the way. Ask your friend to give you a list if names like: Jneiro Jarel, Top Quality, Kevin Kaze, Asamov, The Away Team. I would pick them up, but I would just nip pick for the underground ones. If the shiet is like Young Jeezy, Jay-Z or anything of that calibre, then yeah I would say NO....
i dont know who any of them dudes are and NO they have not made music that will last more then a week in someones brain. real music or good music lasty for ever not 15min

EDE I'm a little shocked you haven't heard of Jneiro Jarel. Although it's the only name I recognize on the list, his music is dope, next level ish.
It will stand the test of time. Peep some Shape of Broad Minds for the dilly.

BigG, grab that wax, but haggle the price a little.
There's gotta be some gems in there? And props for the price on the MV.

nothing in RAp music has moved me since like 95 down and thats even if i can get it for hella cheap.like 20cents a record. i dont even guy rap records anymore at least new stuff.....i only pick up rap music from pre 86,
and of course other music thats not rap.

i pretty much stop listening to rap music when WU tang came out.

everything today you can find in the dollar bins at your local record shop... if you can't you havent been to my shop cause we got alot of stuff in there that you guys would like

No offense e.d.e but 95 circa til now, there is still hot hip/hop music. Basically after Pete Rock b4 95...9th Wonder has taken over, still bringing the soul to hip/hop that P.R. did. Now you got even more not known cats like Krysis from Away Team, and Nujabes making funky shiet for these other underground cats to spit too...But maybe its just I spend to much time in the abyss of the musical world and I don't follow the trend of known music...I guess thats my fault

I did 'nt say artist ,i know theres good artist out ,it's the music of today just sounds like noise. rappin is an art, you need to focus on the emcee who's taken you on a journey over the beat he's rappin over.music back then was about the beats and his abilty to ryhme over it with out distrubting the gruv of the beat songs had breaks then todays music just has abunch of doggs braking .it doesnt sound very musical. rappers need to know when to shut up.anywyas sorry i zoned out ....rabbled on!!!

.........anywyas your asking about the records NO morethen 20 -25 bucks is good deal he aint going to make any more on Ebay listing them will cost him more anyways.

thats up to you ...whats your taste in music. inless you looking to use them records to dj or give them to your kid...it would be a waste of money inless there's some really good stuff and for the price he's selling them for it can't be that great i have bought collections for that price and got around 2000+ records oldschool some new school rap funk soul,r&b what ever else a beat junkie collects...now tell me is it worth it? just wait for teh right time if it's worth it it and you wait it will fall in your lap.
