i understand what yall saying, I just went thru the same thing, cept I didnt ask I found out for myself, that program confused the **** outta me when I first got it, I was like wtf is the purpose, sometimes like in this case its easier to just ask especially cats that use similar hardware

Basically Live 3 is for Loops and Samples, it automatically Time Stretches which is its strongest feature especially if you use alot of loops, control over the pitch realtime, chop, arranging, triggering, its a indepth program thats simple if that makes any sense

Its good to add to your workflow if you do plan on setting a good amount of time on sampling, if not don't bother

Make sure you rewire it to your fav sequencer, its not that strong of a standalone program, but enchances the hell out of your existing program

I agree with Iceberg, its not a 7.0 (out of 10) standalone, but when rewired ohh baby its smoking. You should download the demo and give it a go...its not a must have..but if you have the $$$ I suggest you get it

if you have a host that supports vsti check out intakt by native instruments. it is only $150 and this is a bad *ss app.

I just got LIVE 3 about a week ago after using the demo for awhile.

It works great with Reason, and it previews samples insanely quick.
