"whole" disabled when pressing pad

hey, i´m 2500 user and i was wondering why jj changed the "whole" feature in our latest version 5.52

now ,when "whole" is activated and i hit a pad (to monitor the changes i´m doing) "whole" is disabled

that makes no sense...
is it the same in latest mpc1000 jjOS (i think 4.99b)?

i´m posting here because nobody noticed it or is answering in 2500jj forum

so you think the problem is only a question of time until its fixed? but why he changed it ? it was working

yeah i do think it'll be fixed, esp when i write it out and submit it. NOTHING gets a better response than a well written, clear bug report.

why do i think it happened? not every change in code is surface level, there's so much going on under the scenes that we do not have the access/ability to understand. specification changed in 1 area may effect specification in another area subtly. i believe that in this case, he didn't directly change this purposefully, but it happened as a result of other activity/bugfixing. but it's good, because it opens the door for enhancement.

i will report this as a bug hopefully today and offer my solution/augmentation of the whole range selection. NOT as a feature request but rather as a "hey here's a problem and here's a potential answer to the problem, have a nice day"

I reported that like 2 weeks ago via JJ bug report... we have to wait and see what happens
