you know how in sonar/ PT/ cubase/ logic ETC

you can just cut copy and paste the bars to extend them... i have 4 tracks is there a way to do that in the MPC4k.. there like a easy way without going to each invidividual track and copying them 1 by 1.. it breaks my work flow

im assuming most of you guys just copy the sequence over to a new seq RIGHT? seq 1 to seq 2 with same info then just lace your seq there with whatever new ideas u got..

thanx

move the cursor over to the number of bars. hit open window.

here you can add blank bars, delete bars, or copy bars to extend a sequence. you have a 4 measure sequence, that you want to turn into an 8 bar measure. open the screen, and select copy bars. first bar 1, last bar 4. copy to: same sequence, place after the last bar, and just tell it to copy one time only. viola. you don't have to go into every single track and extend it.

you can copy the sequence onto a new one, and then string them together too. i usually work by making small loops first, then extenend them via the bar menu.
