"whole" function

i think it´s new since 5.52 (or am i wrong?), when i go to GPE (mode+pad11) and press "whole" ,
everytime i hit a pad "whole" is disabled !

do think jj intentionally changed that ?

it´s a bug and nobody of you noticed it? i´m wondering how many users in this 2500 forum are really active working with the mpc ...

jj is answering it is a specification, JJ intentionally changed it but i don´t understand this...
now for example when i change the pitch of the whole program
i can´t monitor the changes with a pad without quiting "whole" mode

this is a huge step backward in workflow for me ,what do you think?

yeah just tried it out! can get annoying when auditioning a pad!

for the mean time its only one push of a button to go back to whole mode! workflow stays the same for me! kinda

might just take a min to get used to until its fixed!

i don´t understand, for you its no problem to press "whole" again and again when you s3arch for the correct pitch for a whole program?

well for now im cool with it cause i know it will be fixed soon with an update!
till then im gonna keep pushing that button

I noticed it too...it takes away from the overall feel and workflow...

Does anyone know if it's been fixed in OS2?

it´s fixed since os2 v1.04

would be nice if they could fix it in os1 too

edit: or is 5.53 the last version ever of os1 ?
