I have had the hardest time using my 2500 as a master with a Roland Fantom-S. The MPC doesn't control my Fantom.
I have looked at you tube videos read the manual for both 3 times.
Someone Please let me know if this is right?
MPC = Master, and Fantom = Midi Slave
MPC = midi out A to Fantom = midi in
MPC: Stereo Out to Mixer In 1&2, and Fantom: Stereo out to Mixer in 3&4
MPC: Mode Pad 9, (SYNC) Sync in: OFF and Midi Out: A
MPC: Mode Pad 9, (MIDI) Active Channel: ALL, Soft Thru: Omni-ALL, Program Change: ON, and Internal Sound: ON
MPC: (Main Screen) Shows The tempo not EXT also should it be set to 1A? and should my Type be: Beat or Midi, and does program have anything to do with it?
It Plays back double and hold a note when I have another midi cord from MPC to Fantom.
Plays drums from MPC with Fantom sounds
