gigbag for mpc2500?

I've been using one of my turntable cases.
I use a t-shirt to compensate for the extra few inches of space.

i picked up Gig Skinz Serato bag... i tried the large mixer bag it was waaay too big for me to feel comfy with it... the serato bag fits the mpc perfectly if you put the mpc in sideways... strap it in and voila! no movement... and you can still fit a small 8 or 10 channel mixer along with all your other little goodies... $70 at GC...

Yeah, I would like getting a hold of a case when I make my constant flights too Hawaii. Can't you get a custom bag made at an upholstery shop?Just get the measurements for them, and they can make you a padded bag maybe with a cool little design on it or something? I'm going to look into that

there was a topic on flightcases before. the consensus was basically to get a gun case. search for the topic. i recall one link to a nice inexpensive gun case that would fit a 2500/1000 perfectly. they have the mini foam cubes you can fit to your stuff in it. hardshell and whatnot.

Just got a 2500 and dug up this thread. . . first post!

I found this.. looks durable enough (all plastic, hard shell) as long as you're not leaving it up to other people (ie, i wouldn't trust this as a flight case where my machine leaves my sight.) Interior dimensions are 19 x 13.5 x 6 (2500 = 16.3 x 13.1 x 3.7) So there are a few inches in length and thickness for foam, a few cables etc..

4 colors available includes cubed foam for $38 from the website.

i got a gig bag for a 2000 xl given me from mate at sound control a few years back my mpc 2500 fits it ..
its even got mpc on the flap .. only thing is i have no idea where my mate got it from !!

Just ordered the plasticase 628. (see my last post) $46 shipped from the factory. Not bad for: hard shell, but not heavy as shit/overkill like a flightcase, a few extra inches in length for cables and a few extra inches in thickness for foam.

Ill post pics when I get it

Im very interested in seeing how the MPC looks in the case. Waiting on those pics fam

there she is. some room all around for foam and a few inches extra in thickness for a few cables.. solid as hell I can sit on it with no worry. The latches are solid and the hinge runs the full length of the case. Looks pretty plain, but I might stencil something on in the future. Totally happy for $46 shipped to my door.
