MPC Pad 187 help!!

I want a guitar strum an my kick to play at the same time but when I try it out on the 2500 I can only get the kick to play...I select pad one insert guitar strum then hit two on pad one an drop in the kick it looks fine but I noticed the two samples didnt sync up when I clicked on the pad in the editor what could I do to remedy the situation?

If you are in program mode under sa,ple and have assigned the kik to the top sample, and the gtr to the sample underneath the kik and when you hit the pad it sounds like the gtr is still off a bit then I would go to the trim section and cut off the start of the gtr sample until its starts right away when you hit the pad, when you back out to listen to the pad it should be right.
