ok
when i try to load stuff from the flash card there is a folder that i created that appears empty but its not suppose to be. When i check the properties it says that the flash card is full, which doesnt make any sense since the folder contains almost the whole flash card. its the same flash card that came with the mpc.

So basically the pc and the mpc reads the flash card to be full but when i want to load my beats, the folder that i created is empty.

HELP pleas,

i need to recover some of the beats i saved on the flash card.

thanks

I don't think another OS or JJ OS will make any difference.
Some programs or seqeunches just disappear, or become corrupted files. Happened to me a couple of times as well.

Maybe you can transfer everything to your PC by USB. The PC mayby will give you a notification that one of the files on the CF card is corrupted. If you erase that one, and you have copied everything to your pc, try to copy all your data back on your CF card after you've formated it.
That helped for me.
And make more folders. If you dump everything in the same folder, the MPC might loose track of everything. And be careful when saving. When you're ramming on some pads on buttons while saving can make the file become corrupt you are saving. Good luck!!

JJOS will fix those saving errors. At the very least get the free version 3.08. Hitting the pads causes save errors? Yikes.

So JJ OS does make a difference? I also have JJ OS, (still the 3.08 version) but last week I tried to transfer all my data from a 2gig CF card to my brand new harddisk, but I ended up with a few corrupted files I couldn't fix... :x

Probably gotta do with my wonderful computer skills
That's why I got me an MPC in the first place...
