important things to get when buying a mpc 2500?

im about to get a mpc 2500 soon. never used a mpc in my life.
what things do i need to get that are a must have? like dvds to learn, books? samples? just whatever will be helpfull to learn and make hot beats.

I just got mine a little while ago... check out mpc-samples.com and do-not-post-links-to-competitors-websites.com they will set u in the right direction.... a midi keyboard makes the mpc for dynamic, samples makes it easier to make beats though if u want completly original sound u will want to sample sounds urself in the future.. i got both the ebook from mpc-samples.com and the dvd from do-not-post-links-to-competitors-websites.... the book is more comprehensive but the dvd is easier.. its up to u

i also got a mackie mixer to play both the midi keyboard andmpc through at the same time... not sure if this is needed... but i havent found out how to get around it yet...

Memory upgrade. I found it running out of memory now and again when I sampled longish segments of a tune for chopping up after I had already loaded a few programs and started a tune. Not essential, but better for me.
