Did you reformat your hard drive afer JJOS install or not?

JJOS- Did you reformat your drive?

How many of you reformatted your hard drive after JJOS install, and how many of you haven't. I'm really just curious if there are any problems that anyone has had not formatting. :wink:

Akai recommends formatting your hd after every OS install, this is simply not practical and I've never had one HD issue. JJOS works fine without that Akai nonsense.. There's no need the HD only contains pgm's and your wave data.Nonsense .. each JJos update does not need this.Maybe Akai's did but not JJ's,this shows you how impractical they are.

That is sort of the reasoning I was taking on the matter. And at any rate I have numerous backups so I guess I'm good to go.

Definately not! I have never encountered HD issues!

My hard drive has never been reformatted and it's seen several Akai OSs and maaany JJ OSs. Works fine :)
