What the FLIP kinda records are these?

i got this "sample" pack that came inside another record..

its like 20 PAPER thin records... lookin like 9 inch singles or whatnot.. but i'm sayin they are like PAPER THIN!!

what type are these and wahts the history behind them?

is it a black floppy disc record? it's only onesided ?

there not all that special mostly used for promotion of some sort,
i had one that was a porno chick from the 70's and she would get all nasty and give you a phone # to call to hear her on the phone.
i got another one thats 3inches and it's from the 50's it was a mailer they sent out it was for chevy motor company.

you got this as part of the record you bought? i have a few rap records on these,your has samples on it , actual songs or snippets? sounds pretty cool, it's it like UBB's on floppy or what?

they still make these records just not very good quality, esecially with the needles out today it would prolly eat it up real quick like.

make sure you put then in something flat cause they will bend and stay that way and are a b1tch to play afterwords

In some cases there were books/magazines that came with these in there to listen to as you read. I have a couple that are children's stories with a little carton booklet.

I have one that's a church public service announcement "Don't do drugs etc." They distributed these when radio stations played records. Get the message out on the cheap.
