saving effects?

hey everyone, i'm new here. i searched the forum and couldn't find anything and i've also been through the manual for my mpc1000 - i'm just wondering if there's any way to save effects settings?

i notice the save feature has sample/sequence/song etc but nothing for effects, and of course every time i turn my mpc off and on again all the effects are reset. am i just completely missing something here or can you not save effects?

the effects are saved with the sequence
and when you load the sequence you can loed the effects or not.

when you save_all_sequences_and_songs it saves the actual effects settings - and you can change which effect setting is assigned to a sequence by inserting an effect change in step edit mode.

or just resample and that way you free up the effects and don't have to worry about it.

i didn't even think about resampling - how do you do that on an mpc? (if you can't tell, i've been on mostly software up 'til picking my 1000 up a couple weeks ago...)

get 2xlr cables run them out of the stereo outs back into the record in. Then go to the record screen select record main out sample it and you good to go-peace

When you select "Main Out" to sample, it routes it all internally, you don't need to hook up any cables..!

Not to mention the machine has no XLR ins or outs.

yeah i figured he meant 1/4", but anyway main-out-to-sample sounds good.

yeah my bad on the wording, it was in the middle of the night when I wrote that shit but you got the point. Plus I actually didn't realize it was internal and no cables were necessary but thanks for pointing that out.-peace
