I got a 2500 and a Triton Studio. What I'm trying to do is set up my midi so that when I go through my MP and change the sounds for my keyboard, it will also scroll through on my keyboard. Basically when I pull a sequence up on my MP, I want the triton to pull up the exact sounds that I used w/o losing them or having to go back and manually find the sound and put them to the correct track.

MPC set track to midi and then use the NO 1 field to select the patch on the keyboard.

you will have to save the seq on the keyboard seperatly and then load that back up when you the seq on the mpc.

why does he need to save the seq in the keyboard? Doesn't it also work when you just save it in the mp? Works fine for me.

when i turn my triton on it defaults to a blank sequence. therefore i tend to save the sequence seperatley as this will then save any changes to the sequence.

dont get me wrong you can recall the patches from the MPC no probs, but any FX or RRPN or other changes made to the actual sequence will need to be saved independantly.

or am i wrong?
