hard drive issues

I have been looking at a list of toshiba hard drives that are compatible with the mpc 1000. One of them is a

MK1032GAX 100GB

I have found one with a very similar product code:

MK1032GSX 100GB

for a much cheaper price but i am unsure whether or not it will work.
Anybody happen to know what features it must have in order to work?
Somebody mentioned the SATA or ATA interface in an earlier post but i couldnt find it in the forum?
Any help would be much appreciated.... cheers
