Hi guys,
I own (and enjoy:) ) the mpc500, but instead of using it as a full-time sequencer/workstation, I tend to use it as a versatile drummachine for live-playing. But still I am looking to find the best layout of the drumset on the mpc pads.
Right now i tend to put the kick on the bottom row, followed by the 2 snares, then hi-hat (open/closed) and floor tom, and the ride/crash on the top.
I'm just curious what's your preferred layout.
Best regards,
Moineau
