MPC to PT-01

Is there anyway I can hook my pt01 portable turntable to mpc 1000 I see the pt-01 has rca cable slots but when I try to hook to mpc I get no signal any help.

make yourself some RCA=>1/4 inch cords
the inputs that look like RCAs on the back of the MPC1000 is SPDIF, not RCA
