Chopping samples

so i was reading the manual ..and noticed i dont see how i can shop my sample into peices and assign them to pads... is this even possible? if not im def selling this thing...

Go to edit mode, select your trim start and end points and extract. Repeat for all the slices you want. No automatic chopshop on this baby tho.

ok so i can record the sample in there lets say 2 bar drum break... i start and end it at the first kick... the original sample will now start at wherever i ended it or do i have to re record it and pick out the next peice? thanks

You extract the kick, so the original is left intact.
