working on JJ os 2

hi,
i try to find a manner to use the old "multi midi-in mode" thay exists on the mpc2000...
i explain : i prepair my sequences on my computer first, reading the programs on the mpc. No Sync, no sequences in, just several programs on the empty tracks.
Problem: When i launch my tracks, it plays the same program ( the one active ) for the several tracks from my computer... so i have to read my tracks one by one... not realy easy...
on the mpc2000 they're was a small "m" or "s" to switch to multi-mode, then you just had to send midi channels in the order of your tracks and it goes...
does it is a way to do that..? a trick, or something...?
thanks... it would help.

nope, currently there is now way, because if you look in the MPC's settings the way that it handles MIDI-In channel settings is to assign them to the 'active track'

You can set it to receive on all channels, or on a specific channel, but regardless of the setting it seems you can only control one track at a time externally, and this is the track which is active on the screen.

I just found out this limitation recently as well and am really hoping it gets implemented in OS2 as it would be very helpful for a lot of different purposes.
