I played around with this today. Seems like JJ is headed in the right direction. So far it seems you can't do much with this feature besides demo how it works (please correct me if I am wrong)...it sounds as good as the offline timestretch and pitch shift on vocals. However, on some commerical songs I ran through it..it sounded horrible. Audio was distorted and you can here annoying pops or clicks.
I am really curious how JJ will implement this in the future because it is obvious a work still in progress.
