Yeah that's not it either. I am still lookin' it's really starting to piss me off cause I know the song in my head and everything but I just can't put the artist to the song.

yo that's the down fall to having to many records sometimes, i feel your struggle i get this sometimes too.

you put something away and forget about it for a while then you down remebr who or what it was.

keep it in the back of your head tho and don't realy thnk bout it and then it will come out .when you least expect...believe dat

Yeah I hate this I have like 18-20 crates of records it sucks cause I know the whole song in my head but jsut can't match the artist to the song but my boy will probably know since he is like a record vault so I asked him but I am just waiting to hear from him.

Well my boy didn't know and he recognizes tons of samples and he was like ask Lib when you see him next time.

I've been going thru something similar. Ever since I played NBA Live '05 in '05. Joell Ortiz has a song on there called "I Mean Business", and I know I have the horn sample but never found it in the stash. I swear the original artist was on the Fantasy label. I pulled out a few (Luis Gasca, Stanley Turrentine, etc) and can't seem to locate it. AND I KNOW I HAVE IT because I always thought to sample it, but always flipped something else on the album.
