Akai MPC 4000 Service Manual PDF

While I was reading about the new interface software for the 4K I noticed on the same site it had a link to the real service manual. I thought this would be a good contribution to the community. Enjoy - I sure do.

Most of us knew this, as this was Akai's bone they threw when it was asked to release their Source Code for the OpenMPC project. It was a thanks but no thanks response,but we
DO appreciate the bone they threw us...


Instead of a sticky, you might just want to throw this threads link into the Tips and Tricks thread or the Newbie bible or something like that...

I think I will do that. I am going to take some time this weekend and read this manual. I just hope we some how "do" get a paid final update to the 4K. My thought is that will restore much needed goodwill with their highest margin customers that bought their flagship product. When you do things like that then they would be more likely to purchase and support your future endeavors. Make good business sense to say the least.
