Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hey everyone,

i have connected a zip drive to my comp(yes i have a scsi card).
i transfer samples from a sample cd witch i like to the zip disk.
than i hook the zip drive to the mpc and than ................. he reconnise the zip drive but not the format.
i thought that transferring from zip to zip was not a problem until now.
what do i do wrong???

What format was the sample cd? If it's wav there are certain prerequisites it has to meet, they have to be 44.1k mono or stereo I think...

is it so that when you have a bild in zip in your computer its no problem to transfer samples via zip disk.
now i have one zip drive witch i connect to my computer format it ,put the samples to it hook it off and hook it to my computer and than i have to format it again witch i tought it was only neccesary with a harddisk.

if you got the XL you should be able to use PCM wavs or SND files. thats if you can read them from the zip. im not to sure if the 2000 imports wav files. but deffently check your formats before you eject the disk from the pc. i have no trouble reading pc formatted disks on the mpc and loading wavs and sounds from there.
