yeah, switch em back to poly or make a separate program or a copy of the original one

that worked until i needed 2 add another track. It know It's a common task I'm trying to do I just wonder if it's a setting I'm un aware of that needs 2 be enabled.I seen another post that sounded similar saying something about overlapping. This is very annoying :? thanks ne way...

I did a little more research on my issue i was having with my tracks overlapping and ran across 1 of your previous postings ''Make audiotrack voices polyphonic/My gripe with audiotracks'' Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:58 pm. I believe this is the same issue. I've used briefly(at 1 time or another) an MPC60 2000xl and a 1000 without the jj os and never ran across this problem. Creating a new program worked but if I want 2 make 6 percussion tracks I shouldn't have 2 make 6 programs. If you've solved that issue you had I will be forever grateful if you tell me or point me in the right direction
.Thanks in advance

no your issue is totally different

just make your programs polyphonic and you won't need to make copies

if you need the sounds to cut themselves off, make their voice mono

if you need the sounds to cut other sounds off, put them in the same mute group
