Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hello! I've got a problem with my MPC2000 classic. When i load or record a sound into my MPC and play it after, the sound sounds BUZZY like ''CRR'' i hear the kick and the snare but with the God damn noise!!!!!
it's NOT a cable problem! That's what i know!
Could it be the RAM?? Cause i have open the MPC to fix the SCSI FS1 problem, mybe i have touch something that i don't have to??

NEED HELP!!! :(

definitely sounds like a ram problem. do you have chips installed?
if so take them out and see if the problem reoccurs.

I've got an f-rom and 2 RAM with 16MB i took one RAM out and than try to load the beat with 16MB, the problem was still present. It doesen't matter what i do, it doesen't matter what kind of combination i try the problem is still present!! But i have to say, the problem don't exist in all loaded beatz or projects!! And the problem is NOT present in the beat-makin procces, when i actualy work on the beat!

I really don't know what to do!!

could it be a problem w/ one of your outs? does it do the same thing from the stereo outs and the headphones?

i'm not familiar with the f-rom but it sounds like the problem occurs after you save your sounds...if so the f-rom you are using could be bad? do you have the same trouble with floppies?

Ok, so what do u think that i take the f-rom out? and try it than??? Will the MPC be in function without the f-rom??

I change the EDO RAMs! Now it works!! But i don't know, i took the EDO RAM out of an old PC and i'm not sure that the RAM will be max compatible with the MPC only what i can say now is, it work's!

Thanks for your help! :D
