HOW DO U CONVERT YOUR BEATS FROM AN MPC TO AN ACTUAL WAVE?

I actually tried writing a helpful post, but this thread is a lost cause, so why bother...

Dude, you need to read the manual, seriously!

What you do afterwards, you connect the mpc to the pc WITH AUDIO CABLES (mpc out to pc in) and use a program that lets you record AUDIO to your computer.... windows has built-in software and it's called "sound recorder". Or you could install audacity or such... whatever...

i love people that are mad at the gear or other people trying to help them because theyre too stubborn to figure it out themselves.

As was stated earlier, you need to record the audio output of your MPC. You can, if you want, record/save the actual midi sequences that are triggering said audio as well, but you don't have to.

For example:

Pro Tools, Cubase, etc. You would have some kind of audio device that your computer uses to input/output audio to/from these types of programs. An example would be Pro Tools with an Mbox, or Cubase with a Firebox, etc. You would connect the audio output of your MPC to the device so that you can record that audio output onto audio tracks in the program. As well, you could connect the midi output of your MPC to the midi input of the device to record the midi data to midi tracks.


So, I would say the first question here is do you own a computer. If you do, the next is do you own a program like Pro Tools or Cubase or Sonar or Logic, etc. If you do, the next question is do you have an external soundcard (like an mbox, firebox, digi002, etc)? If you do, the last question is do you have the audio/midi cables to connect your MPC to that device?

N***a i dont think i need that sh** i dont even think there is such thing i jus need a program that can read midi files so i can take my programs from the mpc and make em into wave files to sell them. is it ok to use a 8 track digital recorder or what im getti p****ed off.

Man, just get some recording program like several people suggested already,record your stuff to the PC and roll on. There is no program that can "read MIDI files and convert them to wave" - That's what your MPC is for!

Aiight, first off, get that midi file shyt outta ya head. That's not
what you need judging from what you said your trying to do.

YOU DON'T NEED A MIDI FILE.

mpc audio out -> pc audio in -> program on pc that you can record your
audio into, goldwave is a free wave editor you can record into. Audacity is
free also.

NO MIDI FILE NEEDED.

Grab a manual and get busy with it. Why buy expensive gear and not
even figure out the basics?
