s950 scsi, help?

So I bought a 950 and everything seems fine, but first of all the disk drive won't "catch" disks (clicking into place), so I haven't solved that, but thought well maybe I'll just get a scsi drive and hook that up but ...ib-109 interface? I'm new to this and wanna get started but i want to have some way to back up samples off the machine before i put time into sampling. any help on these issues or general starting points would be appreciated.

Those SCSI interfaces are very VERY hard to find. Recently there was an ebay auction for one in the UK if I'm not mistaken. Starting price was around 600£...
