Whenever I apply this effect it sounds great through my headphones, but it only plays the left part of the pan on my monitors. I had this same issue on my 1000, can anyone explain this or tell me what I need to do to set my stereo outs so they play left/right instead of left/left?

This is just a sign that your monitors aren't set up correctly. Do you have a receiver in between them and your MPC? do you have any adapters on your audio cables going to them (I have a ghetto rigged RCA to 2 1/4in cable, and it sometimes messes up). Just check everything in between your MPC and monitors. It's not just te flying pan that's messing up, you're not getting anything that is R specific.
