Adding multiple MIDI recordings through MPC 2500

I have no problem adding a singular MIDI recording. But then when I add another MIDI track, as soon as i scroll on my keyboard to find another sound the original midi sound that i already recorded changes in accordance to the scroll on my keyboard. How can I record different tracks from different soundbanks on my keyboard through midi?

Are you in sequence mode on your keyboard. The way that I do it is eg. MPC MIDI 1A = keyboard(sequencer mode) trk 1, MPC MIDI 2A = Keyboard trk 2. and so on, I'm Pretty sure there is a nother way of doing it, but this is how I do it.

it would be helpful if you told us which keyboard you use. some keyboards are not multitimbral and can play only one program at a time, but most keyboards since the invention of midi are multitimbral and can play several programs via different midi channels. so check if your keyboard has a multimode and then use a different midi channel for each track.
some sounds may not sound like they sound if you use them solo, because in most keyboards the effect section is not capable enough to deliver effects for all programs in multimode.

i got the same problem...I got a 2500 and a Triton Studio. What I'm trying to do is set up my midi so that when I go through my MP and change the sounds for my keyboard, it will also scroll through on my keyboard. Basically when I pull a sequence up on my MP, I want the triton to pull up the exact sounds that I used w/o losing them or having to go back and manually find the sound and put them to the correct track. the mm6 can only play one or two voices or two voices in keyboard split mode if you use the controls on the machine to select sounds.
however it is a 16part multitimbral soundmodule if it is controlled from your mpc or another sequencer - that means you can use 16 sounds at one time, each sound on its own midi channel.
to do this you have to switch drum to midi on the main page of the mpc, set the acording midi channel 1A, 2A, 3A and so on for each track. now comes the tricky part: to select different sounds on different tracks you have to use the no.1 field on the mpc. switch the number and you should get another sound. the problem here is that there are only 100 or 127 numbers but your mm6 has more sounds than that. so you hit the window key on the no.1 field and here you can set the msb and lsb numbers that are written in your mm6 manual for each of the voices.
i´m sure you have to fiddle a bit to get it going but this is the direction...
